Bad hair day on The Apprentice!
Have you been watching the new series of The Apprentice on BBC One?
Hair was very much at the centre of episode 2, featuring the two teams competing to design the best ad campaign for a cactus-based shampoo (“even more nourishing than argan oil!”). In the girls’ team, Aisha talked up her hair extensions business while Charlotte reminded everyone of her relevant salon background. Bad luck, they lost, and project manager Aisha ended up getting the boot from Sir Alan.
Candidate Selina had a bad hair day too. Unfortunately for her, the tape-in hair extensions she was wearing were on show because her hair was up and tied back. Not the best look if you're on TV...
Whoever fitted Selina’s hair extensions came too far forward at the front on one side, meaning that as her hair was tied in a high bun, the fine hair at the front couldn’t hide the weft. As you can see from the pictures, one side is pretty flawless but the other just needs moving a touch.
The great thing about Dolled Up’s Invisible Extensions is that they are just that – invisible – even if your hair is tied back. They can be easily removed and re-applied in minutes if you aren’t happy with the positioning after the initial application.
At Dolled Up, we make a point to train all hair professionals who use our Invisible extensions so they know how to fit them properly, whether their clients' hairstyle is kept loose, tied back or "half-and-half". And because we only use double-drawn Brazilian Remy hair, the end result is thick and flawless, from root to tip.
